Hi, I’m Darren.
I’ve always believed that every couple’s story deserves to be remembered in a way that feels honest, deeply personal, and real — a film that doesn’t just document the day, but keeps it alive forever.
More than just pressing record, I’m a storyteller. My goal is to craft a film that doesn’t just capture the events of the day, but one that immerses you in the emotions, atmosphere, and intimate details of how it felt. Wedding filmmaking isn’t about staging scenes or recreating trends, it’s capturing the heart of your story, exactly as it unfolds.
My biggest inspiration for becoming a wedding filmmaker has always been my family. I’m blessed to share life with my fiancée Lindsey, my step-daughter Sofia, and our two youngest troublemakers, Arlo and Piper. Capturing life’s milestones, and feeling the love in those fleeting moments, has made me realise just how meaningful these stories really are.
My own passions shape how I approach filmmaking. I love to travel and explore new places, which means I’m always inspired by the hidden gems and beautiful backdrops of your chosen venue - the textures, light and atmosphere which make your day unique.
I’ll always be a kid at heart - I’m a massive lego fan! There’s so much joy in piecing together all those little colourful bricks to create a final masterpiece. It’s the same with how I will craft your wedding film, where every glance, laugh, and detail are their own colourful piece. These details might seem small, but together they create something truly special - a timeless film that tells your story in a way that’s authentic, cinematic, and uniquely yours.
